Grand Cru Blanchot
« Blanchot » comes from the germanic « blank clair ». It is easy to believe that the name comes from the nature of the soil composed of very white limestone and its clay and limestone grounds.
This is the eastern part of the Grands Crus of Chablis. It has a south-east exposure and it is located on very steep slopes.
Our parcel of Blanchot is of 10 ares (600 bottles !).
